Just write the outline you're writing into a .txt file.

It's all customised, I'm afraid. And not an outline. Here's one sample item:

Mind-boggling:
http:/www.techweb.com/se/directlink.cgi?INW19990215S0002 [Bump]
[[embedded.web.servers]]

``A growing number of devices-including routers, switches and servers from Cisco, Compaq, Lucent Technologies and Sun Microsystems -- are shipping with *embedded Web servers* that let administrators conduct browser-based monitoring and configuration without using separate management software.

The drawback: They don't scale well. Agranat hopes to solve that scalability problem with the addition of XML...``

The double-backquotes get translated into a blockquote. The double-brackets into an AltaVista searchpattern.

"[Bump]" is a source weblog.
