Help with WebStar Plug-in for Nirvana

I've got this all installed just as it says, and things are being served nicely, other than search requests, profile requests, discussion group messages, etc. WebStar doesn't appear to be passing requests that use the $ symbol. Have I done something wrong? I can't seem to find any setting in WebStar to change it.

Any help would be appreciated.
