Exciting perspectives. Would the following proposal change anyting?

On the server side: typing (or whatever) sets the entry A in the database to a certain value. Two frames on the client side: One invisible being updated every x seconds getting value A, a simple javascript checking this value and changing the second frame only if a change occured.

This way I wouldn't have to witness the whole typing, i.e. thinking process and the screen would flicker less.
