No alt-tags on the images? (for text browsers, people browsing on slow lines, blind surfers, etc).

Close. There are ALT attributes on the images, but in several cases where the image is a link, the ALT attribute describes the image rather than the link's destination.

An example is the skull image at the bottom of the right hand column. It's alt attribute is "[skull]", which doesn't tell you a lot about the destination. Dave uses a descriptive TITLE attribute on the link, but not on other image links. Lynx, the most common text browser, displays the ALT attribute of the image, rather than the TITLE of the link.
