IIRC, the // is what the rendering engine uses to find a URL so it can trigger the feature of making them live, like in the case of: http://www.lemonyellow.com/Escaping your // with a backslash should get rid of it, like so: \//
But it is a bit of a pain to remember to do that.
Could the making-URLs-live code test for the case of two-slashes-by-themselves and ignore that particular string?
spoke-too-soon dept.: Looks like it's already been fixed.
spoke-too-soon-squared dept.: It looked fixed in Opera but isn't really fixed...I guess Opera ignores A HREF="//" links... strange...
