Adding half-hourly scheduler tasks the elegant way
Author: erik Posted: 6/3/1999; 9:03:37 AM Topic: Adding half-hourly scheduler tasks the elegant way Msg #: 6976 Prev/Next: 6975 / 6977
In order to run a number of scripts every 30 minutes, I could put in a everyMinute task which looks to see if the minute is modulo 30. It seems like a waste somehow to be doing so many everyMinute checks. Is it reasonable to add a halfhourly entry to the tasks object in user.scheduler? If I autoupdate Frontier.root will that get overwritten?
