And that CPU perfomance makes a difference? Alpha's kicked Intels rear for years, but it's still a niche chip. Here is a chart with double a PII performance http://www.alpha-processor.com/news/images/rendering.gif.GIFMS said NT was mutiplatform. But it never proved it's claim with it's own software. No MS office. It's relagated the alpha to server status.
