See the StartsHere backend for info on how we scrape. Or look at your server logs there will be an email address, a description of the robot and a web url to follow for more information.

We've been mailing the sites that we've added to StartsHere and the response so far has been 100% positive. I've had nobody say to me please stop.

Why don't you like your site being scraped? We use the scripting news RSS file and scrape the discussion group.
