Interesting comments. Sounds like it'd be fun to use Rebol to whip out some quick stuff for prototyping, but debugging would be a horror.

A few months ago I emailed the Rebol guys and asked two questions: What kind of speed/scalability can Rebol provide, and what kind of database connectivity. I didn't get a reply.
