I completely agree: it's a rare case of anybody having the ability to think up a variety of approaches and also having the stamina to see it through after several rounds of defeat. In a usability study, most people would definitely give up before reaching success. I guess I was just stubborn. It took me about 10 minutes and users usually give up after 2-5 minutes.
