Got it.

We have a large database of users, containing all of their details.
What I needed to do was convert the existing data into a table of addresses of registered members (from a legacy site).
New members go into both tables as they use it.

For your information, the code I used is
on noEmail(tblAdr)
 local(row)
  local (rowName)
  try
    for row = 1 to sizeOf(tblAdr^)
      mailAdr = nameOf(tblAdr^[row])
      msg(mailAdr)
      table.assign(( @n_tV.users.
[mailAdr]),@tblAdr^.[mailAdr])

noEmail ( @n_tM.users )
