There are a lot of journalists who consider SlashDot authoritative when it comes to Linux. Whoever happens to be speaking. I was just talking with Jon Udell, who coincidentally did the TOC page for Linux Mag, and said this to him. There is no website with good writing that represents a balanced well-thought-out POV for Linux. Most of them are random mindless rantings.
