Perhaps this is not the right topic for this question, but:

Here's a link from the new salon*.com content-aggregating site:

What function does the "id=winer" parameter have? Does it imply to Herring (in this case) that you are the affiliate or that you are the reader?

I'm sure you'd prefer the former, but I'd have chosen the id "SalonHerringWiredFool".

Bug or feature?
