That's not a surprise to me. Most browser makers couldn't implement HTTP/1.1 correctly if their lives depended on it.

However, don't give up hope just yet. After all, XML-RPC doesn't go through browsers.

Also, you may wish to check Mozilla M10. If it's broken, now is the time to report it and get it fixed for 5.0.
