That's interesting. I was hoping to hear from someone else that this wasn't working for. It would be a PITA to encode those. If it's effecting a lot of people, of course I will do it.

Hm...

What if you just have the redirect script prepend 'http://' in front of the URL you supply it as an argument? Doesn't work for ftp, of course. Replace the first ':' in the argument with '://'?

Random thoughts. I'm such an armchair engineer sometimes. ;)
