Oughts is too old-timey, an archaic version of English, not edgy enough.

"Hundreds" is cool because it relates back to the nineties, eighties, etc.

I hadn't thought of it this way, but it makes sense to me now after reading this. It does sound modern and cool.

I spend a lot of time online hanging with the l33t computer gaming d00dz. They ought to love this.
