just got back from a two hour walk around amsterdam. thought a bit about ken macleod's web rpc piece. thought of bigger problems. linux. it should ship with all security holes closed. this is a pressing issue. newbies are installing linux all the time. it's horrifying to think how vulnerable they are. premature and unfair to single out web rpcs. if you want to do good for the users, let's work on getting linux safe. and keep working on safing-up windows. help with frontier is appreciated. (the friendly kind.)took some pictures. no sleep on the plane. i'm trying to stay up as long as i can. fading fast.
this is the laptop with the flaky shift key. i'm not even trying1
