I'm sorry to hear you're skipping some of my postings, because even though I do repeat or re-emphasize some points I do take care to add new information to each one. Otherwise, why post?

The fact is that we really do have a looming crisis. The network effects, memetic amplification, and "lock-in" of the GPL are reaching critical mass. As we all know, one can ignore such exponentially accelerating phenomena only at one's peril. If we do not act to stem the tide now -- I estimate that we have about 6 months -- we'll be wishing we had.
