I've fallen in love with paypal.com - it's great for sending small payments to others - and it utilizes your existing email system. (You pay someone by sending them an email which they then have a link to the right place in paypal.com).

It's hugely popular in ebay/auction circles. Perhaps it could be used for micro payment of songs?
