Dave, this is one of the few areas that I'm fully agreeing with you on. ;) Definately use the soapbox you have to fight this, and support those who do.

It's absurd how picky -- and religious -- he's gotten about the GPL. This sort of attitude is just as bad as Microsoft's business practices sometimes were, IMHO - he's attempting to engineer the open source community to follow his agenda, not the interests of the developers and users.
