These are the archives of the first UserLand discussion group. This was the testbed where we developed "Manila" in 1998 and 1999.

This DG became a high-maintenence thing, constantly on the edge of flaming out.

In September 2000, with thousands of clone sites running the same software, we switched this DG over to read-only mode.
