My understanding is that the Apple Store is down because Apple is ripping out it's current corporate systems and replacing them with a new SAP based system. That's not something that you can do overnight.

People just love to jump to conclusions.

Once Apple has that new system in place they'll probably be better able to manage their resources and BTO process.

Who will remember this in two years?
