HTML Refresh Language
Author: Mark J. Gardner Posted: 1/11/1999; 7:10:22 AM Topic: HTML Refresh Language Msg #: 1969 Prev/Next: 1968 / 1970
My first reaction: Yippee, just when HTML 4.0 CSS makes it look like the "tag wars" are over, somebody introduces a variant on HTML with... new tags! And a new MIME type, too! Wonder if Mr. Nelson (the author) has bothered to either run this by the W3C or register his MIME type with the IANA.We have enough problems getting the browser vendors to track with the current HTML standard without this coming out of left field.
