It's doable, but if you read earlier messages, Bernie and I both felt that for this to work the "user" would only need a web browser, not a web browser and Frontier, and not any specific web browser.For example, if we could require MSIE5 we could use XML-RPC in the background to poll the server and not get a refresh until the technographer was ready. I sent an email to Marc Canter yesterday asking him to release sample code for XML-RPC in MSIE5.
But we want to make it work first for the base case, a Netscape 2.0-compatible browser is all that's required.
