Debugging $-urls

I've found mainResponder.respond to be a real asset when debugging.

But I'm having one problem with it: it does not takes url's in the form http://www.myhost.com/meme/redax/msgReader$1 - ie with a $ in the url.

The error message is Can't process the request because there is no object named "msgreader$1".
