FreeBSD/Linux
Author: Emmanuel M. Décarie Posted: 5/15/1999; 11:28:12 AM Topic: FreeBSD/Linux Msg #: 6292 Prev/Next: 6291 / 6293
From a non-technical point, from a user perspective, and for somebody that is use to use the command line, what are the differences between FreeBSD-openBSD and Linux? Is it the GUI ?I just don't understand why is there so much hype about Linux, when FreeBSD is also running on Intel hardware.
If somebody can explain this for me (I'm a total newbie on these topics).
TIA
