I don't think you are going to run into problems.

Does your config.mainResponder.domains table contain any entry besides "default"?

Do you want requests for cool.insecure.org and trendoid.insecure.org to return different pages? You could do this by adding appropriate entries to the config.mainResponder.domains table.
