AirPort & XML Applications
Author: Donald W. Larson Posted: 7/23/1999; 9:54:58 AM Topic: AirPort & XML Applications Msg #: 8691 Prev/Next: 8690 / 8692
With the prediction that many appliance-type devices (stoves, refrigerators, etc.) will be networkable in the future, does it follow that those devices could broadcast/receive messages via an AirPort device using XML?I'm thinking that XML messages would be routed to a computer that acts as an AirTraffic controller. That way appliances could communicate via one-another via XMl-RPC in some fashion.
Thoughts anyone?
