I wrote out some comments last night about the potential of Epinions becoming a major e-commerce portal and/or traffic aggregater.

Given the sorry state of Amazon's customer reviews, I'm betting that a third-party company that can offer unbiased, consumer-generated reviews will be the company to watch in the year 2000.
