OpenGRiD is, of course, very interesting but I think it would be difficult to adapt it to use just as collaborative filtering software on one site(e.g. a lot of code to change, a lot of code to throw out).

Are there any simpler implementations?. Meaning, I have content units (in case of MyWebNews.com - modules) and users who express opinion about these content units - I want to show users the content they might like.
