Fredrik, I definitely want pointers to companies that use patents to limit competition. I now know not to use Katiesoft's products, and so do you and everyone else who thinks patents are insidious.

Another thing to worry about. There's a two year gestation for patents. A harrowing question, has Microsoft filed a patent application on XML-RPC technology?

The guys at Sun said they probably do. Since Microsoft cites you and I as supporters of their work, we should find a way to ask this question without provoking a "You Don't Love Us" response from Microsoft.
