A virtual machine. What a concept ;)On NT, already runs 16-bit apps in a virtual machine. I think the POSIX subsystem runs in it's own space. So why can't MS use a virtual machine? It can, in NT. It can't in 95/98/ME. DOS roots of windows 95/98/ME show, no concept of virtual machine in the most popular OS.
Another funny thing happen on the way to look up security. The MS macro security for office 2000 is dated April 1, 1999. Guess MS does have a sense of humour. http://officeupdate.microsoft.com/2000/downloadDetails/o2ksec.htm
Gotta get back to work. Morning client delayed to afternoon.
