@home is now capped at 256k, which is the download rate of the bronze gte service (256/64) I am getting ready to abandon (with a good home router with ddns, I no longer need a static IP).

256k is fine to run some lightwieght services. Hell, a lot of the net used to run on 56k frame relay.

Of course, there is nothing like a university connection with no students, I ran the dsl reports speed test and hit 13,000Kbps.
