I can't proove it, but... I set up a new account for my wife one evening -- a unique name that hadn't been used anywhere else before, wasn't on any website, wasn't used in any newsgroup. The next evening we signed on as I showed her how to use the new mail client. She had 12 new mail messages, all from spammers.

Sorry, Eric, but I'm a believer (ooh, gotta go search for some Monkey's tunes now)
