Eh. This seems like non-news to me. The main-line (AOL-branded) AIM client includes file sharing, at least on the Mac side. Perhaps Aimster's search mechanism is new, but since the file sharing mechanism is part of the AIM protocol, the search probably wouldn't be hard to re-implement.
