The software in the collection was built by a company that Sun bought last year. StarOffice was a freely available office suite which ran on a multiple of operating systems...Just because all of the original software came from Sun does not mean that it will always come from Sun, just like the Mozilla codebase came from Netscape. Source code has to come from someone, no matter whether it is open or not...
