Can your Grandma really get a Windows machine up and running by herself?

Not a Windows box an iMac. Although I imagine that she might have a similar experience with one of Compaq's "plug and play" consumer models.

With half the boxes, the Windows PCs cause 80-90% of the problems for the PC admins.

Thats an entire issue in and of itself ;-)
