Right on! That's exactly it.Only one thing here is optional. You don't *have* to put them into another place, their permanent home can be in the discussion group database.
Every object will have a URL, and of course can be addressed by macros and dynamic pages thru object database addresses.
The support routines are in mainResponder.discuss.
