suggestions to make it rock, I am sure that this is already on your list:

1. SCSI3-UW (ex. Adaptec 2940UW2) LVD Fast Wide SCSI HARD DRIVE (ex. Seagate Cheetah, IBM UltraStor) not an endorsement, but it was in my mail, only good until 1pm. http://www.onsale.com/category/inv/00000291/01441905.htm

2. RAID array would even be better than a single drive.
