I don't really want a seat at the W3C table. I want to join an organization that's devoted to the quick development (design *and implementation*) of protocols and software for the net.
Getting to the W3C would just slow things down. Macrobyte is a small company, but that means we can move fast... UserLand knows what that's like, and if we all had to work at the pace of the W3C we'd never get anything done (except talk too much).
