Hmmm. I'm thinking some kind of wddx sort of thing that is open. Hopefully RDF based.

I think it's this very chaos that is the vital time for things like this. Specs go through a "formative" stage where everything goes for a while until things get "frozen" into stable forms.

I just find it really compelling to be able to create a part of my site that is in xml that other sites could use as a "window" into my site. I imagine sites that are amalgoms of other sites - sort of like a "fruitcake" where you have bits and pieces of many sites...
