But Dave, you basically just announced that you are looking toward a uni-platform solution. It sounds to me that you are planning on leaving the Mac platform

But Jeff, I did not do anything of the sort. How it sounds to you has nothing to do with what I said or what I mean. If Apple supports the Mac APIs everything will be cool. They'd be absolutely nuts to not support the Mac APIs, so save your angst for something that really matters. A lot can happen in a year anyway.
