Dave,

I remember you saying you sometimes liked to watch hits on your webserver scroll by on the log console in webstar. Well with linux, just telnet to your box and type tail -f /path/to/your/logfile. It's /usr/local/apache/logs/access_log OMM. The -f flag keeps the pipe open to the logfile so you see hits as they happen.
