LinuxPPC 5 questions

I'm currently running LinuxPPC 4, eagerly awaiting 5. I plan to reinstall once I get the CD (which I've pre-ordered).

I have some questions:

1) My current desktop is KDE. Is that still the default with release 5, or is it Gnome, or something else?

2) The version of named in release 4 is fairly old. Will release 5 contain a new version?
