I'm trying to figure out a way to password protect certain pages on my website (hosted by geocities), and I keep coming up with a requirement for a .htpasswd file.

does anyone out there have a way to encorporate this into a site managed by frontier (statically built)?

I'd like some way to store the username/password pair in the ODB and automatically create the .htpasswd file (encoding the password as necessary).

Thanks for any info.
