One thing that I'm wondering, is why there needs to be two different formats. It seems that the Scripting News format has the capability to enumerate paragraphs of text with embedded links while the RSS format just enumerates titles and links.

Shouldn't there be a way to extend the RSS format with the paragraph data? Any reader out there should gracefully ignore the extended tag and more sophisticated readers will understand the extended format.
