Now try running this on your machine..

scratchpad.msgtable = betty.rpc.client ("news.userland.com", 80, "mainResponder.discuss.getMessage", @params);
edit (@scratchpad.msgtable)

You can see with this and the previous script, you could write your own discussion group browser that worked exactly the way you want it to. Something like Carmen's News Reader, but for DG messages instead of news flow.
