Wanna get hypothetical?URLs are very powerful. Suppose I encode some copyrightable content into it (making it very long, but still a URL). Now is my URL copyrightable? Or just the copyrighted content inside the URL, leaving you free to refer to the document itself? What if the document/data distinction didn't exist?
Beats me.
