There is an AppleScript/FileMaker solution that I use. Its a bit on the slow side but it does work. It available at http://www.fogcity.com/em_utilities2.0.html.

But if you really want you should be able to use the XML Scripting Additions from Late Night Software and roll your own. http://www.latenightsw.com/freeware/XMLTools/index.html. A better solution might be to write a generic AppleScript, embed that in a REALBasic app and use that.
