Explain how every time there's a speed increase, scripting becomes a more attractive way to go.

Back in 1996, Guido van Rossum put it this way:

"With ever-increasing hardware speed, the accumulated running time of a program during its lifetime is often negligeable compared to the programmer time needed to write and debug it."
